Day 7, the Quest for Beard continues

Here I am on day four. I think I’m in the lead for fastest growing.

Hair coming in nicely.

Daughter still thinks its silly and feels Funky…but she doesn’t seem to be afraid of it anymore.

Wife still just rolls here eyes at me.

And so it begins.  I actually started with a “clean slate” last Friday:

A Few things I’ve learned so far:

-”Wind across the dome” is really cold.  Much colder than I remember in the past.  Until I remembered that in the past I did this in July…

-I now have a DEEP understanding in the inventing and development process for Velcro.  I nearly wrenched my neck taking my shirt off yesterday…stubble is the perfect length to catch hold of t-shirt material.

- My Daughter thinks I’m nuts.  She’s just three, and she said I look silly and my head feels “Funky”

Well, let the Games Begin!!

And away we go.

And we’re off… Novembeard has begun!  I’ve already seen a few folks here at work that are participating.  Most people had facial hair before they started and now they are cleaned up so everyone looks different.

Here I am on day one. My head and face were shaved at the same time.  It will be interesting to see if the hair on my face and head grow at the same rate.

OK guys, let us not forget about our Wives, girlfriends, sisters, mothers or even daughters…

They too can participate in No Shave November!
